• Difficulty: intermediate. A little picky, but worth it
• Light: bright, indirect
• Water: keep soil lightly moist, especially in summer; a little drier in winter, never bone dry
• Soil: loose aroid mix of potting soil, orchid bark, perlite and sphagnum in roughly equal parts

Fresh out of the box: give it 1–2 weeks to settle. A droopy leaf or a slow week is normal travel drama, not a death sentence.

Cold weather: heat packs are required November through February for the live arrival guarantee. Outside those months, if any stop on the route from California to you could drop below 50°F, add a heat pack. Plants are dramatic about frostbite, and honestly, fair.

Live arrival guarantee: if your plant shows up in rough shape, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery. For an eligible claim we may provide a replacement when available, a refund to the original payment method, a partial refund, store credit, or care and recovery instructions when the issue is cosmetic or reversible. Heat packs are required November through February for the guarantee. Orders over $100 ship UPS or USPS with shipping insurance. Orders usually ship within a few days, Monday through Wednesday, so plants never sit in a carrier warehouse over a weekend (we may make an exception if you're close by, likely to receive it by Saturday, or the weather along the route is mild). Water: Keep soil lightly moist at all times, especially in summer. Allow slightly more drying in winter, but never let it fully dry out.
Feeding: Light, balanced liquid fertilizer during spring/summer growth.

Loose, well-draining aroid mix — equal parts potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss.

Not cold hardy. Keep above 60°F (15°C); protect from cold drafts.
