❧ Alocasia baginda 'Pink Dragon'---Pink Dragon Alocasia description
🌱 Beginner-Friendly "Drama-free plant energy"
Looks as good from behind as from the front, and knows it. Deep green arrow leaves with silver veins, held up on blush-to-burgundy stems.
What you get: 1 live plant in a 4" pot, shipped potted in its plastic nursery pot, plus a plant care card, a QR code to our free online plant guide, and a discount code for your next order.
Quick facts
- Difficulty: beginner-friendly for an Alocasia. Hardier and more forgiving than most of its cousins
- Light: bright, indirect
- Water: when the top inch of soil is dry. Never let it sit in water
- Soil: chunky, well-draining aroid mix with extra perlite
- Feed: monthly in spring and summer, diluted
- Outdoors in USDA Zones 10–12; houseplant everywhere else
- Mature size: about 30 inches
- Toxic to pets and people if chewed
Ready to graduate from pothos? This is your gateway aroid. The dragon is friendly. The addiction is not our responsibility.
Fresh out of the box: give it 1–2 weeks to settle. A droopy leaf or a slow week is normal travel drama, not a death sentence.
Cold weather: heat packs are required November through February for the live arrival guarantee. Outside those months, if any stop on the route from California to you could drop below 50°F, add a heat pack. Plants are dramatic about frostbite, and honestly, fair.
Live arrival guarantee: if your plant shows up in rough shape, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery. For an eligible claim we may provide a replacement when available, a refund to the original payment method, a partial refund, store credit, or care and recovery instructions when the issue is cosmetic or reversible. Heat packs are required November through February for the guarantee. Orders over $100 ship UPS or USPS with shipping insurance. Orders usually ship within a few days, Monday through Wednesday, so plants never sit in a carrier warehouse over a weekend (we may make an exception if you're close by, likely to receive it by Saturday, or the weather along the route is mild). Full shipping and refund policies are on our website. Every plant is nursery grown in California.
