🌟🛸 Astrophytum V-Type – The Space Cactus With Style 🛸🌟
Calling all cosmic plant lovers! The Astrophytum var. V-Type isn’t just a cactus—it’s a mathematical masterpiece from another galaxy. With its distinct "V" patterned ribs, speckled skin, and minimalist form, this plant looks like it crash-landed from Planet Perfection.
☀️ Sun-Powered Superstar – Loves bright, direct light—give it sun and it’ll reward you with a sharp, defined V pattern that would make even geometry haters swoon. Bonus: it stays cute even in a tiny space.
💦 Low-Key & Low-Water – Water? Rarely. Like a mysterious desert monk, it prefers to be left alone—just give it a good drink once the soil is bone dry, then back away slowly. Overwatering is its arch-nemesis.
🌵 Spineless, But Not Soulless – This cactus keeps it classy—no spines, no drama, just smooth star-shaped ribs and immaculate vibes. It's giving "zen rock garden, but make it sci-fi."
Perfect for modern pots, minimalist desks, or collectors of weird and wonderful plants, the Astrophytum V-Type brings calm, curiosity, and a little alien energy to any space.
🌌✨ Adopt this galactic gem before it beams up to another collector's shelf!
Plant is shown in 2" planter pot.
COLD CLIMATES - ADD HEAT PACK
We strongly advise to include a Heat Pack (available on our shop) in order to protect the plant from temperature extremes. Any order that does NOT have a heat pack is not covered by the live plant guarantee.
Plant Sizing Guide
What Size Am I Getting? Let's Break It Down.
We get it—plant sizes can be confusing. Is a “small” the size of a golf ball or a grapefruit? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Below is a quick guide to help you understand what each size means when shopping our plants. Measurements refer to the plant body, not including the pot (unless noted).
Tiny
- Baby plants or starter plugs. May be rooted or freshly cut. 0.5"–1.5" wide.
- Example: Butterwort plug, small seedling
Small
- Young plant, well-rooted, 1.5"–3" wide or tall.
- Example: Aeonium cutting, sundew cluster
Medium
- Established plant, 3"–5" wide/tall. Ready for repotting or display.
- Example: 2–3 year-old cactus, flowering flytrap
Large
- Mature plant, 5"–8" wide/tall. Great for centerpieces or statement planters.
- Example: Dioscorea elephantipes, pitcher plant
XL (Collector Size)
- Rare or mature specimen, 8"+ or unusually large or sculptural in form.
- Example: Caudex giants, multi-head aeoniums
📦 Note:
- Pot sizes (if included) are listed separately on product pages.
- Some species naturally stay small—even large ones might only be a few inches wide. Check individual listings for details.
- Photos are of representative plants—your plant may vary slightly (because nature’s not into clones).
