Meet Peperomia incana, the Felted Peperomia — a soft, silvery-green succulent-leaved houseplant covered in fine white "felt" hairs that catch the light beautifully. Native to Brazil, it grows as a compact, rounded shrublet, and it's one of the easiest, most forgiving plants we carry.

Unlike most of the rare aroids in our collector lineup, this one is completely safe to keep around curious cats and dogs — a great pick for a pet-friendly home that still wants something a little unusual on the shelf.

This plant ships potted in its nursery pot. Please allow a week or two for it to settle into its new environment.

Plant Characteristics
• Soft, felted, silvery-green succulent leaves

Water: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. This plant stores water in its felted leaves, so it's far more forgiving of underwatering than overwatering.
Feeding: Light feeding isn't necessary — this plant is naturally slow-growing regardless of fertilizer.

Well-drained, slightly acidic sandy loam or standard succulent/houseplant mix, pH 5-7.5.

Not cold hardy. Keep as an indoor houseplant outside zones 10a-12.
