Why We Love Them

New leaves unfurl in a genuine ring of red, pink, and cream — the color show is the whole point.

A slower grower than most Philodendrons, so it won't outgrow its space quickly.

An accessible entry point into hybrid collector Philodendrons.

Philodendron tortum × P. wendlandii 'Ring of Fire'---Ring of Fire Philodendron description

🌱🌱 Intermediate "A little picky - but worth it"

Meet the Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' — a hybrid of Philodendron tortum and P. wendlandii, with narrow, deeply cut leaves that emerge in a fiery mix of red, pink, cream, and green before settling into a mottled green maturity. The name comes from the way new growth unfurls in a ring of color at the leaf's edge.

This one grows more slowly than most common Philodendrons, so each new leaf's color show is worth the wait.
